The programmes offered by the Harare Theological College are at the Diploma and Degree levels. For those in our day programme, after three years and the successful completion of all the required courses along with a demonstration of Christian character becoming of one going into Christian service, a student will receive either a Diploma or Degree in Theological Studies. Along with regular class work, every student is channeled into an area of Field Work during the college term in which practical Christian ministry skills are developed under the supervision of experienced mentors. We also offer a part-time evening programme
(Research Tutorial Programme) for those wishing to pursue a degree in theology over a
period of four or more years. This programme is designed for the more mature student who has been significantly involved in Christian ministry. Our programmes are designed primarily to prepare the student to think and communicate biblically and to be an effective worker within any local church where the historical truths of the Christian faith are adhered to and vibrantly promoted. We also make every attempt to be aware of the African religious and social context in which we find ourselves.
Those wishing to attend a selection of classes for their personal growth and development and not pursue a diploma or degree are invited to audit the classes we offer.
